Choir Magic and Love

Every day I find myself as a new musician, I love Jazz Samba PoP and here I am singing with my choir group, one of the songs " A ceremony of Carols " was composed by the famous english composer Benjamin Britten and so ... Yes Classical !

It was an awesome group to work with, me 23 and after me the youngest person in the group was 35 , I felt like a baby learning how to walk, wish I was singing Soprano, but everyone was so good I had to go alto !!!

I was wondering today why music ? Why am I waking up every Saturday for 2 years at 8am to go see a class about Music History ?! Slowly I find my answers . I realized that my universe gets bigger every page of my book that I turn. My vocabulary my understanding ... Sometimes is hard to see that classical complex world, but that is how music first blew the worlds mind, way before the samba and jazz that I love <3
I am spending the weekend at home, Studying doing laundry and ... Writing songs ! a new fresh experience lol To discover more about me and music .

Nails and Fernando Pessoa

Today could be another normal day, but I woke up somewhere else.
When I opened my eyes this morning everything was different, the heavy weight on my back was gone. I am me again. I felt love and I saw eyes of purity eyes that don't lie hands that don't burn and I got up for the day I feel brave again I am a better warrior I think that red nails can change a lot about how a woman feels, things I can't really explain, but I feel .
We walk in circles until the circle breaks and then there is no choice but pick a different way to go. The cold slowly eats my days, and I am here waiting for something that I am
Not really sure anymore .

Black and Red and a musical !!!

Doctor martens ... I feel officially ogre! I had an audition on Friday for a musical called " ODYSSEY " Greek poem written by Homer in the end of the 8th Century B.C. , and I used the boots for the first day of tests, I also wore this black outfit to sing " All the things you are " and " All of me " , the boots gave me luck, the producer for the musical was wearing the same boots but hers had magic pink flowers in it !!!
The second day of tests was one of the best days of my life, ( I used to say that a lot when I was a kid ) 5 hours of dancing and singing and I AM IN !!!! I couldn't be happier in the end of 2012 that tried to melt my heart here and there ... This is going to lead me to the path of MUSIC THEATRE action ! I am excited that will be my change to know if this is what I really mega wanna do !
To complete myself with more happiness my mom , same person who gave me the boots, gave me this mega cute ring I am in love with cause it goes mega well with my little silver ring that I got at the Montreal Jazz Fest this past summer

describes the magic Journey of the LEMON BUCKET ORCHESTRA , a Toronto based band that in my opinion is one of the best musical movements in the city, where the audience really emerges in a dance forever jump and enjoy the interaction, music x dance x feel the magic moment

Day 2 of no hard work

It's been a while that I've know this guy, he was always a very generous loving person to me and always treated me like an important person in his life, it means a lot to know that you have people around that you can rely on feel safe and loved
He has a gorgeous store in a fancy neighborhood here in Toronto and I worked with him this weekend, I get to dress up and hang out with the gorgeous servers that come over to help with catering service
I feel lucky beautiful and ready to have a wonderful Saturday night <3
